Interlude

Sorry folks, I have been too busy to complete several essays that I introduced a while back. I will return to writing just as soon as I can, frankly, I have been inundated with work.

BTW, President Obama's solution to America's healthcare problem is not the real solution to a problem that also effects other sectors in American society like housing, energy, education, transportation, food costs ... And having said that - at least he is trying to do something - and I commend him for that.

Sadly, the President's proposed solution will simply reward wealthy insurance companies, insurance tycoons, overly paid physicians..., in the same manner that AIG was recently rewarded with over 200B for its part in screwing up the economy.

The amount spent to bail out AIG, one insurance company, represents over half of America's current defense budget.
When will we stop rewarding the wealthy for malfeasance, graft, opportunism and greed? It is those individuals that Americans refuse to elect, to the highest offices in the land, like the Dennis Kucinich's of the world who would go after the problem, and devise real life-changing solutions for what ails America.

Until then, the rest of us will have to simply tolerate more of the same. And what is that old saying, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same'?
America has a systemic problem, that no one in power, not even Obama, is willing to take on today!

Love, peace & grace
