What If You Don't Trust Them: American Government Officals?

The Apostle Paul wrote:

1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment... hmm!3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

And Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 5:8
If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still.
9 The increase from the land is taken by all; the king himself profits from the fields.

Er herm and it sounds good!!!

So what are you supposed to do when you don't trust your own officials? For example: The other night, when the news first broke about Usama bin Laden being killed, taken and burial my initial reaction was that I didn't believe what was being reported in the press about what had taken place. In fact, Mr. Obama's long-awaited press conference, continued to be delayed, which resulted in my having to stay up past my bedtime, 10:00P.M.

Factually, I still wonder whether UBL is dead or alive? Given how our leaders, take former President George H. Bush Jr. for example, who once admitted, that he may have "misled the nation', a bit...

The above speaks speaks to why: Americans, many of us, no longer trust the people that are elected to govern?

Given that Solomon was a King, it was in his interest to say that, rulers are not a terror to good works. History would disprove his rationalization.

An image popped into mind one day. In it, I pictured President George H. Bush Jr., former President George H.W. Bush Sr., Vice President Dick Cheney and Vice President Dick Cheney telling me something that was of grave importance. What came to mind was, would I believe them? And the answer would be no. Why? None of them are trustworthy, and two of them have certainly misled the country before and we know it. That old sneaky Cheney, boy, God only knows ...

With respect to President Obama, who reportedly got Osama Bin Laden the other night, after years of trying, get it, "Obama, got Osama', I didn't believe anything that was reported by the press. For when it comes to plausible deniability, something that I learned from our government officials, I have all the more reason to question what was reported in the press, reportedly by President Obama. Throw him under the bus with the other Presidents and Vice President Cheney, when it comes to credibility? Er herm!!

Well, it's not like we haven't been misled before, remember Yellow Cake, the mushroom cloud, and WMDs ...? And lying in the name of national interest is as natural for these fellows, as it is getting up and brushing your teeth in the morning. I wonder what Paul would say about lying in the name of national interest.

Someone wrote that God put a lying Spirit in the mouth of the prophets so that they would cause King Jehosophat, I believe it was, to fall. Would that make it any less a lie in the eyes of 'what we call God'? What would the Apostle Paul have to say about that? It would appear to me that he had a few problems with officials, even 'the Whited Walled Ones', that he referred to in his writings.

Here is what I am thinking, and the reason why the American people had to be told that UBL was killed, and buried at sea. UBL may not be dead, or was dead a long time ago. If he is alive, he is being hidden and tortured for information about al Qaeda. If he has been dead for years now, as some suppose, the US Government decided that they did not require the image of the poster boy being out and about anymore, in order to carry on their misdeeds.

Motive, well, the ruse of capturing and killing UBL, would certainly take the minds of the American people off of their current economic plight, and cause them to rally around the flag, on the way to Memorial Day.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if UBL is alive, and is instead being held and tortured at some unknown location by his American captors, and being grilled and tortured for information about Al Qaeda ...

And if that turns out to be true, most Americans will say, "okay then". Why? Because they want to appear to be true and patriotic Americans. However, before everyone gets worked up about UBL being captured, shot, buried ..., ask yourselves this question: How does that alter the fact that the problem that most Americans have now, has nothing to do with UBL, AlQaeda or any other real or feigned terrorist organization.

The terrorists that are causing your and my problems, are not from the Middle-East. In fact they are homegrown, and most of them serve or have served in the Military, the United States Government, in corporate America and in other positions of power and authority. I smell sulfur.

Already, our leaders in Washington are recapitulating, with respect to the events that reportedly took place in Pakistan. Dead or Alive, what impact will it have on the lives of Americans who are out of work ..., not a result of what UBL did, but what our own homegrown terrorists in Washington DC, in Corporate America ... are doing to us?

Shouldn't the children of Israel, have been subject to the authorities in Egypt? Should the United States government, be subject to the United Nations? Okay, let me go and think about this, however, UBL does not make any difference, it is what our government officials who are in bed with corporate lobbyists, and other former government leaders ..., are doing, that is hurting us. Let's call them, American terrorists, for example Banco Terrorists instead of Narco Terrorists ...!

Whose side are they on? Let's do what another former paragon of decency, a leader who deceived Senator Barry Goldwater, the former and late head of the Senate Intelligence Committee said that we should do in the person of late President Ronald. President Reagan said that when it comes to the Soviets, we should "trust but verify". Okay, here's a better idea, why don't we, the American people, 'just verify', because we certainly cannot trust President Obama either now!

And when it comes to what the Apostle Paul had to say about authority ..., I disagree, for rulers are a terror to good works. They were when he was alive, and they are a terror to good works now and he knows it! By the way, who established Satan's authority?

Peace & Grace

Solomon

Every time, I think of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld together, I can't help but think of the see no evil, do no evil and think no evil, monkeys! Wake up Obama, you are beginning to behave more and more like one of them!
